General Information About The College

Location of the campus: BGC Trust Medical College is located at BGC Biddyanagar, Chandanaish, Chittagong at a distance of 32 Km. from Chittagong city in a serene natural environment. The campus area spreads over about 100 acres of plane land and well connected by land route (Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway) and Rail route( Chittagong-Dohazari route. But the Rail route is not still suitable for public use). It takes about 1 hour to reach the campus by road from Chittagong City.

The Medical College is sponsored by the BGC Trust like its many other institutions namely BGC Trust University Bangladesh (BGCTUB), BGC Academy (School & College, Maulana Mohammed Ishaque Shishu Niketon, Ibrahim Iqbal Memorial Hospital Ltd. , Osmanara Nursing Institute. It is a nonprofit, charitable endeavour of the Trust. BGC Trust is committed to spend all the surplus fund from the college for its further development only.
